Your Hosts, Scott & Roberta Roser
Scott Roser moved to Ruidoso in 1988, after having looked around the Southwest for a mountain town. He earned his real estate license in 1990 and has been a full time realtor/investor ever since.
Roberta Roser is 5th generation Ruidosan with many "great-greats" running around with Billy the Kid back in the late 1800's. She is a former 3rd grade teacher of eight years and now devotes her full time to Sherwood Forest.
Scott and Roberta married in 1997 and have two daughters.
About Sherwood Forest
The property was originally developed by Cowboy Stokes and his wife back in 1968 as a "summer cabin/lodge retreat." We purchased Sherwood Forest in 2007 and have completely remodeled all units, keeping the best of the old but adding modern touches such as bamboo floors and poured concrete counter tops. All five rental condo units have 14-foot vaulted ceilings and look out to the Rio Ruidoso watershed amongst 100-foot tall pine tress. The setting is glorious.
Our goal is to provide our guests with a comfortable, relaxing, memorable place to stay, at a reasonable price, where you make your travel adventures worthwhile.
We look forward to serving you.
